SHE

She won't slow down,
she can't stop.
She's wrapped up in her pain,
running until she's ready to drop.

She's all alone,
in her silent suffering.
She's cast away
with the ill and dying.

We look at her
and see a disease,
thinking our ignorance
is a way to please.
Where did we lose
our innocence?
We take the far side of the road,
ignoring this conscience.
Why are they condemned to die
alone, forsaken, in the back way?
Why do we live in our mirage
ignoring what happens in a real day?
We can't wait for someone else
to come and be the hero,
when we have so much to give.
So let's disable our pride and go.

Gov. Hannah,
Found your blog (finally!!)
This is a really cool piece. You have a real gift of writing out and describing a thought and sharing it. Just hearing this perspective from somebody else is TOTALLY awesome, and somewhat helpful on the "okay I'm on the right track" track...
It's amazing how calloused our hearts are, without the Blood of the Lamb constantly/ consistantly being washed over our very person, to tender and soften our hearts!!
